  1. Something a little different, doesnt exactly fit into the category Murphy's Law, but wierd all the same: One of my proud Tiger commanders charges ahead coming a little close to the remains of a US rifle squad. Not a problem, he kills them all with his private machine gun. As he doesn't believe in life after death, he thinks that is the end of the story. Unfortunately not ... About 1 second after The US squad has turned into corpses he notices a grenade flying out of the dead squad. You can guess what happens to my Tiger. I hope this commander is enjoying HIS life after death.
  2. Guess Im rather in the "worst" category, never played a PBEM match before. But I'd like to take part anyway.
  3. I like the poll idea. Something else: it sounds atractive to have lots of categories, but I'd stick to just those 2 categories that you have defined so far. Having lots of categories will effectively make the whole thing less interesting. The way it is now, everybody will be eager to get THE perfect shot.
  4. The problem could be a different language version of CM. In the German version the Scenario folder is named "Szenarien", but after updating to the newest version you have to move all scenarios to the folder "Scenarios" (or rename the folder). Maybe you have encountered a similar problem.
  5. Gotta love those online translators. Yea, the German words are correct and so is the first translation. On the one hand, "Achtung" means attention in formal military orders, but in this case it means "Watch out".
  6. It was an entertaining read, but honestly, you can't believe that this is true... Uh, and I would expect a serious historian to know how to spell "Kreigsmarine" (nearly fell off my chair each time I read that word) Anyway, that doesnt mean I wouldn't enjoy such a mod. It's just that I'd rather call those battles fictional.
  7. Look at those pics: All the light wood structures all over the map broke down at exactly the same time, taking half of my infantry with them. And worst of all: I think the reason was my own air support, because this happened during an IL2 strafing run. Sorry if something like this has been posted before. Is this normal (and that's a bug, right?) a 220lb bomb doesn't usually start an earthquake, does it?
