  1. Last night for the first time I finished the meeting engagement mission with victory in the difficult settings. This was a great senario. I still didn't start the campaign, because I need to train very well. By the way I remember that I read some where here that there are 20 maps loadable. Please where can I find those. Thank you
  2. Hello Everyone: In the dogfight demo, I put my gun power to 99 in the configuration. I BAKED the Leo but after that I depressed the gun to the lowest and fired a HE round. To my surprise I totally destroyed my own tank. I repeated this many times and I got the same results. Maybe next time I should land a shell near the Leo so it is totally destroyed. Another thing, I ordered the game on Oct. 26, but I still don't get it. Is there a way to track it or now where it is. Thank you.
  3. Bljesak, Take it easy. I also don't agree about that war and I think if they simulated the Iraq-Iran war with much bigger scale tank battles it would have been better. Even if they did WW3 in Germany it would have been better. But any way, I ordered this game and I am waiting for it to come, because I am sick of Abrams SIMs and dying to drive some Soviet equipments, which I am strong PRO to it. Crazy house is planing to come with new game for 1982 war in Lebanon and this should be great. When this come, I will purchase it, but I don't know if BF will sell it or Crazy house will seeks another company to mark it.
  4. Actually, it does not. It has some elements of the real T-72B FCS, but has some simplifications made for it for some reason or another. SB1 FCS is realistic enough to use it as a gunnery training tool, T-72 BoF FCS is not. And yes I know BoF wasn't designed for that purpose, but neither was SB1. I could argue more about the realism level between these 2 games, but it would just develop into another pissing contest and Moon would have to lock this nice thread. </font>
  5. I just played the demo and it seems that it is more realistic than SB. Here you have a real battlefield with trenshs and AT works. The smoke after firing looks closer to what we see in TV news than SB. The way the tank moves, brake and shift and how you feel it is better than SB in addition to that you have the better graphics. Ok SB FCS is more friendly is right, but this is part of the reality of the game. It tried to show a real Soviet FCS and how it works like SB tried to show how a real Western FCS works. If you want more friendly FCS ask the guys to make T-80 or T-90 tanks
  6. I think it is related to wear due to repeated shot through the main gun. In real life, T-72 gun can shoot 500 round before the barrel wear and should be replaced. Before the replacement the accuraty of the gun is effectted by that wear.
  7. I also prefer SABOT, but what I ment is shooting at aircraft. You have to use ATGM especially at great distance.
  8. NOOO, If you are turning on the FCS you just aim at the target (Not AHEAD of it). If the target is moving, you right click on it (lase it), than track it for another 2 or 3 Seconds than right click on it again. The FCS will aim the gun to a point ahead of the moving target, but you don't see this LEAD or feel it on your sight. So after the second lase you sould fire immediatly. Dual: enables tank commandor (TC) to take control over gun. S (gun stabilizer): make the gun pointing in one direction and angle regardless of tank movement and JUMPS. R: Reload another round. The two buttons: For smock.
  9. Hello everyone, I downloaded the demo and the game is incredible. The graphics, sounds and the battlefield itself where you have trenches, barbered wires, AT ditches, AT obstacles and AFV fighting positions (never seen any of those in a tank sim before). Today I am gonna order the full game. The eastern FCS seems not bad to me. I actually liked it more than steelbeast FCS, but this is only my personal preference. And for the first time I got a feeling of how to drive and turn a tank. Even though, I still have problem in firing ATGM from the gunner station against moving targets (like the Helo in the firing range). Every time the smoke covers the sight and I miss. If I use the PZU I got a 50 % chance to take a shot without the smoke. Some time I take the TC and activate Dual mode and use the missiles. This was it is better, but there are still some times where I miss due to muzzle fume. Does anyone have a tip how to overcome this problem (away from turning off smoke in configuration)? Thanks
