I'm glad to hear it because it cracks me up not being able to play it,best game since panzer commander.

Its a top game,i cant really think of a way to make it better but something has got to be done about the frame rates,stutters and miniskips totally rob any enjoyment or chance for success.

I did that and got the fps up to 8 but the game isnt half as pretty. Its obviously something i did because it used look good and there was fairly decent fps,I'll just uninstall it and reinstall it and hopefully that will undo anything i did, Its probably about time to defrag the hard drive too.

much appreciated. I ran the game with the fps counter and was only getting frame rates of 1 fps,2.5 when the baddies were killed. Pity because i liked all the grass effects and cloud shadows,i suppose i gotta do what i gotta do.

Yeah,i get some funny slow downs too. I've a pentium 4 2.8, radeon 9600 pro, audigy 2 and a gig of ram,surely this should be enough to swollow this game whole,it gets really bad sometimes. Any suggestions on what i can dumb down?also whats procedural mean?

OK,found the difficulty settings and doubled my armour,i can actually survive a bit longer. A good what if would be the warsaw pact attacking the west circa 1985,Lots of helicopters flying which wouldnt do the FPS any good though. French coast in six weeks?no problem.

Maybe it would sell better if the tanks were fitted with lasers instead of guns??then again maybe not. The game would sell better if more people heard of it,it was only fluke i came across it on ebay. Still some games can be slow burners(like chris de burg),It might sell a lot over the long haul,as long as the name is kept around in sim circles it will sell.

Yeah,one thing for sure is you wont breeze through this in a week.

Maybe future games should have difficulty settings.

This game is Da Bomb,its rock hard though. What i cant figure out is why this board isnt jumping,you'd think everybody would buy a top game.

Well yeah,if you suit one person another person will want to be suited the opposite,compromise and you will end up being accused of making something that is neither one thing or another. I'm really really glad t72bof is the way it is and i dont think its dry at all,a bit on the tough side though. Its definately a new benchmark in tank games.

Back to sims nowadays are to dry,the way i look at it is there should be something for everybody. If its a battlefield experience you want you should try WWII tank commander,its got explosions and paratroopers falling from the sky and non stop explosions and bullits,Very cartoony. I actually thik t72 has meat on its bones and i can buy into it but try the other game for a change.I got both the same day but i mostly play t72,theres a new panzer elite game coming out soon so maybe that can live half ways between t72 and wwii tank commander.
