I am trying the beta and have found that SC will load w/out incident. When I try to play it however I get and error saying that Direct X version 7 is not detected and the game quits. Whether you have seen this or have researched this I don't know but felt that you needed to know this. BTW I have the newest Direct X installed,,and it may (and most likely is ) my fault some how

It's all up to par and it's still running slow when clicked

OK I am an didot. I did a reinstall (You are corrcet Mr. Cater,,,I should have read first) It's still doing the same thing though. I have tried the EP solution with no fix for the problem

My game seems to be running extremely slow. I am running an AMD dual processor w/ Nvidia 6600. When I say run slow,,,an example would be choosing a unit and it takes up to 10 seconds before anything can happen with that unit.I have already applied the new patch with no resolution with the problem. Am I the only one having problems like this?
