  1. There really hasn't been big WWII games that seemed cool. War in the Pacific looks pretty sweet so eventually I'll pick that one up. Oh, I need the game. Cheers, Jon
  2. I'm getting sort of superpumped up for this game. It looks like it's gonna be cool. Next to the 2by3 guys and the creator of this game, you're keep it real, to the bone esse! Yeah for sure. Seriously, could I see a screenshot of the Russian front on a large scale, like the whole front? I'd like to see what that looks like on just a unit scale in this game. That will tide me over until the release date. That way I can imagine fighting the battles in my head until it's released. Thanks for a cool looking game, J. Rono
  3. Music and sound are crucial. I have set up a little wargame office in my home. I can throw in A Thin Red Line, Enemy at the Gates, a lot of music really depending on the front and what not. But where I think I've gone over the top is I have an extra DVD player, so when I want better sounds I can throw in Patton, Stalingrad, Saving Private Ryan or any war film I have and listen via headphones to add to the noise of war. For this game any John Williams I think shall work, Lord of the Rings and any war movie soundtrack. So the ability to create a multimedia realm when playing a game is key. Heck, this game might really stretch my multimedia ideas to the limit. Just think, switching DVDs out depening on what front I'll be dealing with. And when Der Untergang comes out and I start losing as the Germans I can throw that in. Thanks, Rono
  4. What is the armor situation? Thanks for your feedback.
  5. I know that this has been discussed but what are the unit sizes? Is it armies or corps? Thanks, Jon
  6. How many cities will there be? Other than capitals, how did you decide which cities to put on the map? Just curious. I was thinking about the railroads and roads and thought that, yeah, at this size they are sort of a given. I guess these games are making more sense to me because I just bought Korsun Pocket and D-Day by Matrix games and they really made me feel like I got ripped off. One battle is all you get and I just don't agree with how it is scored and so forth. With these games, large scale, there is much more control over the entire war. I like fighting campaigns but when you can draw resources from all over it gives you more command. Thanks, Jon
  7. Will there be any of that in this game? It would be most awesome of there were roads and railroad hubs. I find the aspect of road and railroad hubs as a place to strike fascinating. Plus it would give the map a little more...modern look. There is so much empty land on the map. Just my opinion and I have just come across this game but it looks most interesting. Thanks, Jon
