  1. Thanks for the test and the vote of confidence. I have several CMAK operations at the depot, and perhaps I'll make a few more as per your request. ID
  2. I need some feed back from H2H play on "A Hostile Debouchment" as it is a very large tank battle and I'm sure needs some tweaks. I just updated the scenario to version 1.4 so if you do test it, please make sure you have this version. The scenario can be found here. C'mon you Head to Head guys out there...if you like battles with over 100 tanks and enough space to fight with them...then this is for you and an opponent! "A brief, howling sandstorm swept across the Tunisian plain early Sunday morning, February 14...Soldiers in black tunics tramped down highway 13 carrying lanterns to guide more than a hundred tanks-a dozen Tigers among them...through the western mouth of Faid Pass. As dawn spread behind him, the commander of Operation FRUHLINGSWIND climbed a rocky parapet above the squalid hamlet of Faid, General Heinz Ziegler liked what he saw: nothing. The Americans did not appear aroused, nor even alert. At precisely 6:30 A.M. the drivers shifted into gear and panzers spilled from the Eastern Dorsal onto the plain...They came down like the wolf on the fold..." --An Army at Dawn ID

  4. Here are a few... Benghazi Beau Geste-Bir Hachiem Empire Strikes Back- Benghazi Give them some steel Marsa el Brega Minqa Qaim The Walking Wounded
  5. Pirx: Hey man, I'm sure you will enjoy "An Army at Dawn" just about as much as I have. In fact, there is only one last "engagement" that I have left to do on my plate from the book. I have made many a battle from that book and they are all posted at The Proving Grounds . Just search in the scenarios area, search by author. A Sword in Algiers will do you nice. Junk2Drive: Thanks for the plug bro! ID
  6. Check out The Proving Grounds , you'll find a host of operations there. Let me suggest some of my own that fit your needs. Benghazi Marsa el Brega Minqa Qaim
  7. I'm playing "Duke of Normandy" right now via PBEM and it's turning out to be a hell of a fight. Check it out. It's by Kipwatson
  8. Cool, thanks for trying it out. Please let me know what you think would make it better, or needs tweaking. I've made maybe 20 - 25 battles and operations. Go to The Proving Grounds and search under the scenarios section for more. This particular scenario is built specifically so that the Ai attacks you. But I feel it will be a good 2 player scenario also.
  9. This one also looks like it would be fun as a PBEM. Are there any 2 of you out there who could take this on and give me some feed back? I'd really appreciate it! You can jd_cravin@yahoo.com me your findings if you do not want to post at The Proving Grounds
  10. "A Sword in Algiers" "Of the nine major landing sites chosen for TORCH in Algeria and Morocco, a beach that American planners had considered among the easiest was proving the most difficult. Eighty miles north of Casablanca, the seaside resort of Mehdia had confounded Brigadier General Lucian Truscott's best efforts to subdue it. Landed badly but without serious opposition, Truscott's 9,000 troops were supposed to capture the modern airfield at Post Lyautey, a few miles up the serpentine Sebou River. Once the field had fallen, aircraft from Gibraltar, and seventy-seven Army P-40's now parked on the escort carrier CHENAGO, would give Patton formidable airpower in Morocco - with bombs and fuel provided by the CONTESSA..." -- An Army at Dawn I have attempted to setup the battle so that the player defends and is attacked by the Americans. I recommend you set the computer experience to +2 or +3 as attack is not the Ai's greatest strength but with a few careful placements, it can be fun. Also note that the historical French defenders will be played by the Italians. Please try it out and as always, all comments welcome and needed! A Sword in Algiers
  11. Also, for a great place to find user made and grognard tested scenarios, head over to The Proving Grounds
  12. Head over to The Proving Grounds , there you can find many scenarios. A couple I would recommend, just because I know them so well , would be "Hampshires", "The Patrol", and "The Walking Wounded". There are a lot of good scenarios out there, take a look. ID
