  1. wow - thanks guys - you were right Banquet, I was very impressed!
  2. I have received my package (according to the wife) but wont know what I have got until I get home and open it on Thursday night. I hope you haven't spoilt the surprise Banquet
  3. The camera control is just like driving in england and driving in france. Its different, you just have to get used to it. (I prefer france )
  4. Yay!! well done DelaVega - great videos and a good choice by BFC. I hope you have fat bastid sized T-Shirts for me
  5. Great! Thanks Moon, i thought you had gone on (a very long) vacation
  6. I guess the year was not specified as my calender says today it is 9th October 2007 and the competition was finished 1st August, before being moved to 1st September (without even an announcement) and an announcement 'soon' means another month, two, anything at all? I make videos for fun, of all games I play and some I put on Youtube. I was making ToW videos before the competition was announced and after its so called finish date. I dont really care about 'winning' (I have been to Moscow several times and am lucky enough to be in a financial situation where $1500 is not exactly an incentive) and the only thing of interest would of been meeting 1C, which would of been great. I also know others who made great videos, irrespective of the competition and they are probably of a similar position to myself. This is important to clarify - BFC your a business, a professional company that promised something, something that was very simple, your not having to rely on programmers, code, testing... nothing but yourselves to at the very least give us some information. You dont even post anymore about the game your supposed to be supporting and to post once to say 'soon' is a bit of a piss take tbh. I could post a lot (more) of negative comments, none of which will be helpful and all in an effort to simply sting you into a response, any response. The internet - information and communication is key - try it, bad news is better than no news.
  7. Maybe thats why we post on here ... to get BFC to respond to when the patch is released or when the video competition winner is announced? Your post comes across quite rude. As english isnt everyones first language its not unusual for people to type something they dont mean or people to read something typed that wasnt meant - but you post with the capitilisation and triple exclamations implies your annoyd - why? Information seems to be at a premium on here - I would understand if it was the case that there was nothing to report (from BFC), but that isnt the case.
  8. Member # 16622 great pics thanks. I have only been to Finland once, so I am about due to go again I think - if I do get there I will try and visit the museum.
  9. Saumur is fantastic, went there a couple of times when i was living in Normandy, although it was a bit of a drive (about 9 hours round trip i think). Normandy itself has a number of AFV's scattered through the various museums and country side. The best though is Kubinka, although I think you still need to book in advance as it is attached to a real Russian military base in current operation - also you are not allowed to take photos. In the UK there is Bovington.
  10. Public servers always are, nm the game. There is quite a lot to tactics, but you need team work, ergo you need a team. Not here to (intentionally)defend another game on here waiting for MP and smoke in ToW!
  11. its not crap - it is another great game - I love it and the difference is online MP is superb, which is hopefully going to be the same for ToW!! WiC ingame name Slapajo, add me to friend list
  12. Everyone has an image of a perfect game, and TOW problem imho was that many people expected it to be perfect WW2 tactics game. Thus, because TOW is not perfect (there is no perfect game), after release almost everybody did not found something they wanted badly (enterable buildings, quick battles, etc.). We are trying to make it as more enjoyable as possible, while keeping it's unique features intact. </font>
