Multiple battalions? That's not quite the scale I play...
In terms of performance, it seems to fit with the new processor.
And according to what Landser writes, there doesn't seem to be any incompatibility with AMD either....
That's an interesting link. In the end, however, the question is always how much money you want to spend. Are you satisfied with the performance of your processor in Comabt Mission? (My target chip would be a bit higher in the charts).
After a long time I will probably buy a new PC. I've always had computers with Intel processors. But this time I'm considering getting an AMD computer (AMD Ryzen 7 5800X).
Anyone had problems with AMD? Especially with Combat Mission?
Many publish their mods using Dropbox. Then you can also make changes after constructive feedback. If you want it to be an "official release" you can always contact Bootie....
That's independent of mods...thanks for the answer!
@BFCElvis Aloha! Can this be reported as a bug? The situation is similar with the syrian special forces. And does that even make sense? Is there a chance it will be fixed?
To be honest, I actually thought so too.
To quote from Steve's 2022 preview post:
"...Updated CMSF2 and Black Sea (1st Quarter) - both previously released Matrix/Slitherine CM Families will get the PBEM++ and Tournament systems as free updates. Any bug fixes and what not that have come up from Cold War development will be rolled in as well. "
Do Syrian paratroopers have night vision goggles or not? I mean game-wise.
In the game every soldier wears one, but most of the time the equipment panel only shows one per squad or none at all...which is correct? And will what is wrong ever be corrected? Or am I not perceiving something correctly?
For example take the files "smod_soviet_helmet-soldier-ssh68.bmp" and "smod_soviet_helmet-soldier-ssh68_normal map.bmp" from CW and rename it to "smod_syrian_helmet-regular.bmp" and "smod_syrian_helmet-regular_normal map.bmp".
Ignore the strange naming of the normal map-files of the CW-bmps (smod_soviet_helmet-soldier-ssh68_normal map 2.bmp) and make the number in front of "normal map" (e.g. smod_syrian_helmet-regular_2normal map.bmp)
The partisans have their own skins (like the Volkssturm) for the faces. However, these are not used, instead those of the regular Soviet soldiers are used.
