  1. Dear Philippe: Firstly, you are right. I launched the first trench mod without a complete test in game. Yes, thats right. This was the first time I dealt with a bmp that changed the aspect according to the phase in play. When I discovered that, I tried to notice the CM community with posts in forum to avoid damage or whatever other inconvenience to anyone. I was so satisfied with my not tested mod than I inserted this one in my CMBB and CMAK folders overwritting both 1228.bmp files. Later I was looking for trench mods in cmmods but I found only one and it wasnt what I was looking for. I have an old CD (back up) with bmp,s and I found a trench bmp there. My idea was to use this one working in it, improving it, and repairing my mistake and to solve whatever inconvenience caused to the few ppl who had downloaded and pasted in their bmp folder the wrong mod. I didnt know that this old mod wasnt from Battlefront. I thought than it was the original CMBB 1228.bmp file. Now, reading your post I have understood that this old file (in my CD back up) I used as base to work, was made by anyone in past. Well, sorry again by this. You can be sure I would have asked permission to modify this one. Simply I couldnt find any other trench mod in cmmods database (try it) and I thought that it was the original (game CD). For example. Last thursday I detected a mistake in one of lasts ARistoteles mods. I asked him permission to repair and to send the new mod to the community. I agree with you about this kind of courtesy in modding. Usually in my mods, in cmmos text box I include my authorization to modify and distribute. My only interest doing mods is to better the graphical aspect of CM games. Thats all. You know I dont get any other kind of benefit (economic for example). In this ocassion, I have to recognize I have made several mistakes. I can only say than there wasnt any evil intention. SORRY AGAIN GUYS. (And Philippe, thanks to show me my bad behaviour and conduct).
  2. Thats all I am able to do to improve this damn bmp. In game this bitmap works differently according to the game phase in which you are. If you want to see the final effect, you have to finish the set up starting the first turn of game. Update in cmmods.com

  4. IT DOESNT WORK, PLEASE DONT DOWNLOAD IT. I have made a mistake. Im going to try solve it and update it. Excuse me, I was working to better the game but this mod (trench) has trick. It appears great only in set up phase. Later it doesnt work. My bad, sorry guys.

  6. The early Marder II isnt available in Dec 1944 (The Bulge). Its available the MarderII mid and the Marder III,s. Guys, I need two hours and half as minimun to finish each one of these mods. Whitewashed schemes are made through layers, which saves you a lot of time. Snowcover schemes are made by hand, step to step. Modding is tedious but funny. I learn a lot with each vehicle. Moreover, I dont use winter vehicles in CMAK. None. I only use them in CMBO and CMBB. P.D. Ppl like you, David, Junk2drive, and others who spend a bit of their time saying thanks or talking about our mods are our reward. Thanks to you. 11. I think so. This guy hasnt done his homework.
  12. How did you get fog? I dont know that graphic card: ATI Geforce???? Are you sure? I thought the problem with ATI cards were the drivers, not the card. (In mac, ATI cards work perfectly). Well, im looking for fog in ATI Radeon. If anyone can help this CM mate, please, DO IT!!!!! ) Thanks in advance.
  13. Until now if you were the owner of a laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon card, you couldnt update drivers or to install the latest Catalyst Control program. Now, its possible. There is a mod file that changes several script lines in ATI Catalyst and you can update your laptop graphic card. See here: http://www.rage3d.com/index.php?node=news&cat=75#newsid33796057 You also need to download the Catalyst program in www.ati.com selecting your O.S. graphic drivers and Radeon cards in menu. Dont be afraid, its easy easy easy. You only follow the steps in the first link I have included. It works very well in my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 1840 with ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 laptop.
  14. Moreover, the last anti counterfeiting system developed by ubisoft, doesnt let you install the game if the set up program detects a virtual disk like Clone or Alcohol.
  15. Well, if you desire to spend your hard disk space, use alcohol to set up a virtual drive. A no-CD patch is a little program that is placed in the main directory of game. The original executable file is renamed as *.BAK Of course is easier and you dont have to spend a lot of hard disk space with the virtual CD for each game you have.
