[Tiles / Hexes]

Thanks for those screen shots and explanation Hubert. I was so disappointed to see the change from hexes to tiles and those screen shots suggest the game isnt going to be any good at all. I really was hoping for a game with the bugs fixed and not this one which I probably wont bother buying. Hopefully there will be enough other people thinking the same as me and we'll get a SC3 with hexes

Squares!! - Avalon Hill decided 20 years ago that squares wouldnt work for a board game. Damn - I had been looking forward to SC2. Hopefully there will be a SC3 that will use hexes

Ah - some of those movies are OK I guess but the trouble with living in the US is that you donsee much of the movies made in the rest of the world. For me, the best war movie is the Light Horsemen, the story of the charge at Beersheba in 1917 - the last succesful cavalry charge! It was of course the Australian Light Horse and an Aussie movie

[Air Restriction]

There seems to be a general consensus that some sort of air restrcition is necessary in SC. What then is a fair restriction? I have used German 10, UK/US10, Italy 4, Russia 4 (plus any Siberian) but other players restrict it as low as German 4, UK 2, US,2 Italy 2, Russia 3 (+ Siberian). What do others think?

[Gamey or not Gamey?]

I like to play games where the Air Fleets are limited also. At home we play max 10 air for Germany, US/UK, and 4 for Italy and Russia. Id like to know if this is a fair restriction, or should it be restricted even further

[The Italian Ambush Ploy]

Having beeb the person who just used the Italian ambush against Friendly Fire, I am surprised that I am the only person that agrees with him. It shouldnt be possible for 4 French Fleets along with most of the British navy to sit outside Italy waiting for it to declare war. There are , as a number of others have written too many events that dont make sense in this game and hopefully there will be a SC2 that can correct them. I also wonder about lining up the British AC's outside Ireland and pounding the infantry there until all the carriers have 4 bars - great ploy, but not realistic
