Still cannot get it to work. Unable to properly edit game lines. When ever I hit the <browse> button I get this error message. I am completely stumped. File "View.py", line 1400 in OnGameDropboxDirectBrowseClick File "wx/-_windows.py, line 2359 in_init_ TypeError: String or Unicode type required Help!?

I wish to cast my opinion in favor of almost any improvement BF is willing to do to clean up the mess that is the UI. A one glance information panel and reduced <clicking> would be a great place to start.

God I hate it!! And it seems to be even worse in CMN. In a scenario I'm playing I just lost my 4th vehicle, Panther, Puma, and 2 StuGs. All but one of them were on a dry road! Sure I know the argument for "realism" but that's just patently ridiculous when compared to playability. This is a game. How is it fun when at any moment a player may well lose the ability to play/compete because he may unilaterally lose units? The fact that it can/does happen to both sides does not make immobilization better, just crappy for both sides. BF, you out there? If you read this then in the next patch please, please, make immobilization at least a play option. Relieve us of this most frustrating occurrence.

...all the gun/vehicle mods? Is it possible it's just not worth the time/effort for our expert modders to make minor upgrades in appearance because the stock efforts by BF are pretty darned good?

Brian, excellent thought of providing a "bonus" when playing against human pilots. Puts me square on your side for making proposed changes. mTk

Mistura, toss in my two cents on your side. Don't make it a purchase item. Has way too much influence for the exp cost.

Upon completion of install process I get the following message: "Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)" What's the fix? :confused:

Installed v1.03 into my v1.02 but when I try to start the game I get the following message: "This application has failed to start (duh!) because OpenPlay.dll was not found." Is there some way I can tell the program to look a little hard? The .dll file is sitting right next to my v1.03 file! Solution? A little frustrated at this point. mTk :confused:
