Hi Panzer, I downloaded the mod and installed the latest versions into the global game - not gold. However, when I start the game it still shows version 1.04 for the mods in the campaign selection. I think you might have told me before that this was overlooked? Other than that, how could I find out if I installed it correctly? Thanks

I read the post about purchasing the game. I have a question It seems that if you initially buy the game like I did CMBN boxed edition I will have to spend more $$$ to get the upgraded version? Is that correct? Once an Upgrade is released those features become standard for all new customers. Existing customers can purchase the features as a stand alone Upgrade for the game of their choice. The previous version of each game will continue being sold for some time, at a discounted price (and can of course be upgraded later on if desired). From what I read above, it seems that the new customer gets the best version thus the customer who bought the game originally has to pay more money?

I am playing the ww2 campaign in the game and for some reason I am unable to find the method of seeing when my reinforcements will arrive? I can't find the right table etc? What am I missing?

how do you play a tournament?

Yeah I checked, I just thought the Gold version in the repo section sort of blended into the global section, I just viewed it differently, its all good though, I like your mod the best and that's the only way I play the game.

Thanks Pzgr, The reason of why I thought the mod was re-released was due that when I went to the repository the patch mod was under the section of Global Conflict Gold. Do you think someone could make mention that this mod is only for the original global? Let me look again thanks

I downloaded this mod and placed it into the campaign folder of the Gold edition and it came up with an error box. I have the other advanced reich campaign games in the original Global. I'll see if I can attach the error box, the other picture is of the file structure for gold. What went wrong?

The one above is on the original combat mission and its very positive, check it out. Thats why I liked the original when it came out, going to ground level and feeling you were in it.

I have mine working the problem is the scan component of avg, make sure you have the heuritics off

Am I going crazy? I thought the other day I was able to play the regular 1939 scenario with the nato style counters? Now, I am unable to find them even in a regular scenario, did I miss something?

On the Brute Force scenario I seem to be unable to find the alternative unit counter view? Is it on this scenario? I like the regular Nato symbols not the 3d thanks

That is one reason of why I will not be buying the next expansion pack.. I prefer eastern front battles.

Ike, I like the AVG since it gets the highest rating, I had to do what you did but i deleted the vault as I said above and reinstalled the game and I was getting the non start from the scheduled scan and the heuristics box being checked. The one thing is that this is such a small thing and I wish these companies wouldn't have this garbage on the files. The pirates are still going to figure it out anyway. I buy from this company b/c things work easily. If I get frustrated with a game on my system it gone, forget it. I have avast on my old computer but I kept avg since it works with everything I have hope it works

Norv, This is the problem with the sc2glib.dll file on the AVG. This is what happens- keep the sc2glib.dll file in the exception list and go to the section on the scheduled scan. I also unchecked the heuristic box since when the computer did a scheduled scan I think it might have prevented the game from working. Also, go to the vault and eliminate all the previous files that were found as viruses, malware etc. Lastly, send a ticker to AVG about this and hopefully they can fix it. Let us know what happens, I think shrull is correct with the quarantine section, that might be the problem, the heuristics option is a small box under the scan schedule section, that was a hard place to find it when Moon told me about heuristics. without heuritics scanned big problems?

Thanks scrull for the quick reply, I use the avg and what I did was the heuristics box was checked under the options section of how to schedule your computer scans. I don't scan my computer much and then also what the AVG program is picking up is the sc2glib.dll file in the game of Gold. I tried ignore and that doesn't work so I went into the section of advanced settings and I placed this specific file in the exception list and it seems to work. However, should I also place the Gold application start up file in the exception list? I sent a report to AVG and I was wondering if anyone else could send a report to AVG about this specific file. AVG gets a real good write up for free software and I like using it. By the way, since I have this heuristics unchecked will this create a problem with catching things? thanks for reply, how is Avira compared to AVG? Its just bothersome when I have this game and problems with avg even when i have the exceptions. I am doing some tests and does anyone know that avg does a scan of the computer and they have a heuristics box, should i leave that unchecked when scanning the computer?
