  1. Not sure what this means for the future of CM, but it sounds good.
  2. Quote: 'Armies belonging to the agressive NATO alliance devote much attention to night operations, the defense in particular...'
  3. Even now it looks good. Well, thank you for chosing this beauty in the first place. Much appreciated.
  4. If I recall correctly the 'ideal' frontline for a German division in WW2 was something like 7 to 8 kilometres, but it usually was a multiple of that. Not sure about that number, so if anyone wants to correct that, please do.
  5. Believe me, I'm following your thread with the same interest as that of Elvis. Great battle so far.
  6. That is indeed great news, MJ. For me your mod is offering great comfort during the long wait for Fire & Rubble.
  7. Can you see how many downloads you had for this superb mod until now, MJ? Would be interesting to see and to compare that to only a handful reactions on the forum.
  8. But you can switch between AI and playing both sides yourself, right?
  9. That's okay, in your case I can understand. But Red Thunder was released in 2014, so it's about time this module will finally compliment it. It may not have been worked on for 6 years, but it has been a mighty long wait. And still is. Apart from that release estimate after release estimate has been broken, so just 'ride the wave' doesn't cut it anymore.
  10. Well, you can play both sides, so that's not a problem.
  11. I wasn't toying, Majick. I must have noticed that post, but never read it. It's only since a couple of months that I become trully interested in the combination of PZC and CM. But I'm going to read your post. Looks very interesting, so thank you for pointing that out.
  12. It's a simple enough question. If the answer will turn out to be a 'no' I can only conclude that F&R has become a sideshow, like R2V was. I don't buy all this 'we don't even know ourselves, things have become so complicated, so how dare you to ask' talk, followed by the usual declarations of support, understanding or even indignation. All of this doesn't bode well for the future, so yes, Wade, I'm pretty agitated about it all.
  13. Me too.BF never disappoints. After all is said and done these guys are simply the best developers of wargames in the world. The module will be breathtaking, of that I'm sure. Although I also have a wishlist like everybody else (Eastern front 1942-1943, Finland 1939-1944 and North Africa 1940-1943), I will have everything I could possibly wish for when Fire and Rubble comes out. I have no idea what the future will bring after this module and we should prepare ourselves for even longer development times, but of one thing I'm sure: it will be stunning and second to none.
  14. Indeed. I'm studying the editor at this moment and it's not as limited as I at first thought. I found out it's possible to use the Kursk oob in combination with the Charkow 43 map in order to recreate the Fourth battle of Charkow in August 1943.
  15. In your case I can understand that. More useless comments are welcome, so please don't hesitate.
  16. It does. I know by now such statements are not written in stone, but it's something to hold on to.
  17. Well, that's a problem I haven't solved yet. Depending on which site is victorious, i withdraw units and don't use them for several turns. But if one uses one's imagination it's still fun.
