  1. Looks like the exe's are like wine and need to age to work right. Tried to install again without another download and after a few tries it worked!! Finally. Thanks for you help!
  2. Tried what you suggested. Same result- keeps giving corrupt fie results. I have about 6 more downloads left. If you can help out with you tech support and help out if I run out of dowwnloads, I'll try a different download manager and try again. Once again- thanks for your help

  4. Well this is where I am- I did the hash check and both exe's are identical 5C8AA905FC004F709604CC588AE558EB same size files as what you got. Then I copied both exe's over to an older dual core running XP and did the hash check then- the values changed to 1,378,610,716, value being:81CBA6D3F8AC1B2C28A0D3AB0ED06926 I then tried to install it on the older machine and it went ahead no problem all the way to where it's asking for the licensing key, which I don't want to proceed on since I want to play it on the newer machine. After about an hour trying out the installs on the new machine over and over, I'm able to get to the point where he exe's extract all the bins and it starts the install. Then i get the following errors during the install- that the Data\Normandy V 100a.brz and 100b.brz files are corrupt and need to be redownloaded. Is it a Windows 7 issue at this point since the older XP machine did it no problem? Going to the Moose Lodge to drown my sorrows. I'll check back later if you have any suggestions. I really do appreciate your help. Thanks.
  5. Thanks for the response. I used Download express both times and the size of the exe files are both the same, 1,346,300kb or 1.28gb. Should I try a different download manager? Don't know if it matters but I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Will check back on this thread when I get home from work. Thanks again
  6. When I go to install the game I see that it starts to extract a bunch of bin files, but I end up with the following error messages: CRC failed in CMBN_Setup-1 b.bin it does the same for the d,e,f,g,j bin files also and at the end tells me that the some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation. I've disabled the AVG security on the computer based on a previous post suggesting it may help. Im running a AMD Quad core with a HD Radeon 5670 with driver updated to 11.5. I went ahead and downloaded another exe file and the best I ended up with was the c or d bin files failing and the game giving me the same get a fresh copy and retry message. Any suggestions? I'm getting the mail copy of the game also, but will I have the same issue with that? Thanks
  7. I had this scenario in my Scenario folder, which I deleted by accident. It's one of my favorites, but doesn't seem to be available on any of the various CM sites. Does anyone know of which sites may have it or if someone has it, could they email it to me. Thanks Balzams
