..that make this game great. So how about a cool little details thread?
I'll start - and I found this out by benchmarking a saved game and running the next turn over and over again while locked on a Sherman:
The Sherman was unbuttoned and when hit w/ small arms the TC would drop down and close the split hatch - so you would expect that. But a couple of times the TC was hit - and he would drop down into the tank and the hatc would remain open - and was closed sometime later (probably by another crewman). Now that's attention to detail.
BTW, I must have played this turn out about 20 times and the variety of outcomes was very gratifying to see;
- Hit/abandon
- Brew ups where no one got out
- Light hit/back-up/pop smoke
- Tank kills enemy and survives
...good stuff!
