  2. His name would be the new Bobbitt headline..... =) I'm lucky myself to be married to a woman that also likes playing computer games.
  3. According to the RT info page: Guards Rifle Battalion (43) Guards Rifle Battalion (44) Guards Submachinegun Company (43) Guards Submachinegun Company (44) (http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=330&Itemid=567)
  4. Metzger should be awarded a posthumous Iron Cross. He really knew how to use that SMG of his!
  5. The Hetzers commander "have a cunning plan".....
  6. It shouldn't pose as much trouble as AT weapons with a back blast at least...unless your flame jet hits the walls/window sill and you'll turn into your own target.....
  7. To bad Elvis didnt buy a few Kampfstuhl IX.
  8. US Army Rangers are not really out of the question from a scenario point of view, as they operate in a distinclty diffrent fashion from the other Special Operations Forces mentioned. Platoon/Company/Battalion seized assault or blocking actions are still part of their mission profile and that would fit well into CM:SF. You can't rule them out on the ground of them being part of SOCOM. But if you choose to include them or not is another thing altogether. [ December 11, 2005, 03:39 AM: Message edited by: Jotte ]
  9. Now that is a funny e-mail addy you have there KnivBjorn. *Translates into english as Knifebear@threatmail.com*
  10. I now have a shining US version through the Marshall (of the Soviet Union Grisha ) Aid and have played some differnt QB's and the Balkovzy Surprise scenario ( nice one WWB!). My initial impression is that armored comabt are about the same difficulty level (although this is also a bit harder) as CMBO whereas Infantry combat now requires far more use of real tactics. I really like that.
  11. With a wooden tail assembly and rather fraigile/flamable wings, you should be.
  12. Ahh Zvezda, it's a really good movie even if I don't understand more then a dozen Russian words. Good to hear your PC is up and running again.
  13. Really really like this new unit picture too. Kudos to the artist! In CMBO the unit pics made me feel like all the commanders were cloned.
  14. My first tank kill in the demo was an exploding KV-1S, hit from 880 meters in the first shot by a PzIV. It put a really big on my face , thats for sure! He tried to get one of my PzIII's on the left flank while the Pz IV's were in overwatch. Second one was almost identical but at 850 meters with one penetration hit and then shortly after one more hit that made it go KABOOM! Got to love this game.
  15. Thanks for the heads up. [ August 31, 2002, 06:23 PM: Message edited by: Jotte ]
  16. TSword, You better check those pics on jagdtiger.de again because they all DO show the hullmounted MG in exactly the same position as in the diagram.... Or maybe your post was an ironic one?
  17. To the NVA the US were invaders don't you think? That's their view of things. Might have been that Mel Gibson was refering to?
  18. Look to the left of the yellow tubes in the linked diagram.....
