  1. hi Danscan, what you've described is excactly what I have in mind. I've started programing some applications 3 month ago. It will be this way: 1. create a campaign - units (battalions, companies) - map (bmp, jpg.gif) - Terrain information (for spotting and movement calculations) (- no hexes but squares) 2. play the campaign -move units -reinforcement and maybe supply -create battles -import battles 3. create battles in cmbb -import battle files to cmbb -export battle (unit casulties) from cmbb (in a similiar way as map mission does it) If anybody knows how to post pictures I can show you a screenshot... Nothing has been really finished yet but I am on the way.... Maybe you have some good ideas which you want to share with me.... ?
  2. Does anybody know what the feature "Map Edge friendly to" mean (it's in the parameter section)?
  3. Does anybody know if it's possible to execute Combat mission.exe with parameters(e.g. the path to a pbem file)? or is there another possibility to start cmbb and jump immedetialy to a pbem game? Thanks
  4. First there is a problem when purchasing units. You can't save the game while you are in the unit purchase screen. Player A has to buy the army. Second you can't save the game when it's in the movie phase. That means you need some more coordination between player A and B what results in much more file exchange (both have to watch the movie, and therefore both need the original file from team 2). I don't think this will work fine unless you define an algorithm.
