If I bought CMBB I would lose my job, my kid and perhaps my dog would get mad. Countless hours would be spent mopping up pockets of German resistance and sending them to the rear to meet my friendly Russian morale officers. I think this is best. I will break down and eventualy buy CMBB in about four seconds, but for now, I feel damn good.

My Russian heavies seem to panic very easily, even though I was yelling at them through my computer screen. Even after my threats to shoot them if they abandoned their tanks, they jumped out. The silly cowards bailed out of their tanks because they were afraid of being outnumbered 7 to 1. None the less, those bastardly germans shot them down on the steppes of Russia. It was a sad day in my house. I loved those cowardly, drunken, cocky, sleazy, Russian tank drivers.

So, have you guys killed any baddos with the rifle? I have penetrated their armor, but no kills. However, after four AT rifles peppered away at a tank for three turns, it went into panic and fled. That was really cool.

I was under 3000, however, my old email account is now defunct and so I could not get my old password. So I created a new profile. Now I have a number over 7000, thats bogus. Too bad, I like the respect and elitism I enjoy being under 3000.

Ok, for all those who dont know me, Im a trouble maker, thats right a trouble maker. I say things to hijack threads and to piss certain people off. Oh well, sorry about that. But tough cookies. Now, to the point. Playing the tank battle in the demo, you know what im talking about. I place all my 45mm guns in the exact spots they should be placed in (yeah, thats right) and when the panzers are infront of my guns, meaning, my guns have flank shots, I open fire. All I get is rear penetration, I get like five penetrations before the crews decide to bail out. But, I only take out a few tanks before my pathetic russion whimpy crews are getting bullts stuck in their guts. You would think with several wholes in your tank you would be hurting. Your toughts would be nice.

You guys are funny. The hell if I know those answers. I tried out for the marines, perhaps I should have mentioned that, oops. Too damn lazy to make it. And its spelled Harvard. And there are no red wolves in nature damnit. Anyway guys, I know my stuff, military paid for me. You guys harrass a lot, so you can bite me. Yeah, that may not be a legal term, but oh well. Just try and test me on modern military weaponary. Ill bust your balls. Exuse me.

Ok guys, here is the deal. I have spent a great deal of time around military bases, was a marine myself. Paid for law school that way. Damn fine payment plans for college. All you kids reading this, go to school. Anyway, a modern M1A1 can fire around 3-5 rounds a minute depending on the crew. However, there are automated systems on updated tanks. The gun barrel automaticaly compensates for direction, elevation and distance. Distance is of course determined by a laser at a max range of either 3 or 5km, damn I cant remember. Anyway, once you fire the round the enemy tank is as good as dead. However, that is modern tank combat. In world war two, you had to estimate the range, and fire bracketing shots once you got the range. A trained tank crew could spend six or seven rounds at long distances just getting the range. Again, you cant hardly see an enemy tank at 800+ meters. The shots described by scipio are damn near impossible regardless of the tank crews training. In fact, im so angry about this whole mess, im going to eat dinner.

I just played a game and I lost. Then this guy said "whos your daddy punk?" What the hell sort of drug addicted, teenage punk rock, M&M fan, school drop out, running from the law, dumb butt head says that? What does that even mean? Is he insinuating that he is my "daddy"? Is this some new teenage thing? Anyway, my question about CM. I just got back from a safety training thing Im doing. I toured a radioactive plant and there shielding was battleship steel. This was six inches thick. I cant imagine an 88mm shell being able to penetrate something like that. Thats wicked high power. How much armor in inches (damn that confusing metric system) did the largest world war II tank have? Excluding those monstrosaties the Russians built. :confused:

All I can say to this is "whos your daddy Kappa?" Thats all for now.

Ok, I was wondering, for all those people out there who know what an intergral is, if CM models the trajectory of a tank round with some advanced math or just probabilities. For example if you calculate the arch length of one tank to the the target and take into account that that arc length is changing at a non-constant rate and that the height of a shell due to gravity will constantly fall at 9.8m/s^2 then you have one hell of a complicated math problem. I only bring this up because sometimes my tanks will fire and the round will be very crazy. Way to the left or way to the right or way to short, or somtimes the round just disappears. And unbelievably the round will sometimes land behind the tank that fired the shot. Whats going on here?

Just wanted to say that I almost forgot about D-day tomorrow. I feel bad and guilty. I will take any abuse you guys throw at me for one day only. Then an insults will be dealt with on the CM battlefield. God bless America and all her soldiers.

Hey Fionn this is CombatGeneral, I believe that the Chinese government has war plans for America. However, a war with America would be disaterous for China. They know that their technology lags far behind America technology. Any war with America would be a war of attrition which the US would be hard pressed to win. Atomic bombs would be the only way, as China has an unlimited number of soldiers at her beck and call. China would be a formidable opponent, but I see no reason to go to war.

Austrian Strategist, you are perhaps the most odd ball guy I have ever met. Very funny post, I might just give GO a go. Haha, a pun, Im not so good at puns so Im damn proud of myself for that one.

By the way, if you are listening Fionn, I would like to play you some time. You seem like a standup good chap, and I would like to take a crack at you.

I have beaten several people allowing them to use whatever they want. Vet SMG's and panthers seem to be very popular. Yes, at times I am slaughtered, but when I use my arty right (thanks skelley for the help) I slaughter them. Proper placement of AT guns is essential. Anyways, I like meeting engagements with infantry, thats a lot of fun.
