  1. I been searching the forums & can't seem to find whether anyone has actually run CMSF with CrossOver by Codeweaver. I'm unpacking a new 24" iMac & really don't see purchasing a copy of windoze in my future. I've survived so far without Microsoft anything(!) since my MacPlus back in '85. Thanks All; MacGeezer (Faithful to the cause in these, my Golden(?) years of retirement) P.S. CMAK still rules on my trusty old Beige G3 MiniTower.
  2. Agreed CW. Or; as I've asked before, to consider something like the runnning TO&E in Major H's TacOps. It was adjustable independent of the FOW, big help in solitare games. Granted, BFC is busy fine-tuning the game right now, but perhaps further on down the line??
  3. I would love to see a running TO&E chart in CMx2 (I know, I know, I stole the idea from TacOps/Major H.)
  4. I have a M20 Scout Car that was shocked (commander hit) three or four turns ago. I can’t get any of the three remaining crew members to man the .50cal. The crew doesn’t show to be rattled or suppressed in any way. Is this a bug or is there a chance they will still rejoin the battle?? I’ve never had a problem with surviving crew members in my halftracks.
  5. I feel CMx2 will undoubtedly be developed for the MacIntel architecture, and of course, transparent to the OSX user interface. The bad news is, it will leave my 17” PowerBook out in the cold. No CMx2 on the road??, Rats! The G5-Quad will also eventually show up in the clearance bin, unfortunately another non-candidate, Double-Rats! Upgrading my desktop (a beige G3!) actually hinges on which way CMx2 goes! Ahhh Well; I’ve waited this long........
  6. Getting back to ‘deformable terrain’; if my ‘Shermie’ knocks down a wall, troops can now utilize the gap at a much reduced movement penalty? The gap is now passable (but risky) for a halftrack to attempt?? Another thing on my wish list is the ability to cut a road into the side of a hill or simply drape it over the terrain. (Hopefully, the 1x1 mesh will take care of this?) Jon S (the other JonS)
  7. Found the book to be a good read, worth the bucks! As for the Courier/typewriter font, a heavier weight would cure the legibility problem (when it goes into reprints).
  8. Has anybody out there modded a PSW 233 with the correct turret (I.E. the stubby 75mm)?? Seems like it shouldn’t be that hard and is somewhat overdue.

  10. Will(both) these new games by D.V.G. be supported on both the PC & the Mac??
  11. Made up a QB with a PSW233 included in the TO&E. During setup I noticed that my PSW233 didn't have a stubby 75, but looked like a regular PSW232. Is this normal or are my data files corrupted? (nit.picking at the East Pole) TIA
  12. I noticed on my mac that the data folder for CMBB is HUGE  (1.23GB for 8,745 items)!! Is this normal compared to CMBO? I can't even open the thing without it locking up my machine. CMBB runs fine though.
