Townsend is the town in Tennessee that i lived in and Vol stands for Volunteers. I am a graduate of the Univ. of Tennessee and their nickname is the Volunteers. Go Vols and God Bless.

Yep, spent 3 years in the United States Army. Basic at Fort Leonard Wood, AIT Fort Lee, ASI Fort Dix. Stationed Camp Page South Korea about 16 months. Fort Eustis Va. about 1 year. Was a Petroleum Supply Spcialists (Fuel Handler) and a truck driver (977 Hemitt) Got out as a Specialists.

I am ex military and no I am not a pacifists. I do think war is a terrible but sometimes necessary evil. God Bless.

I read about it in the manual really quickly and didnt get it. I was busy with other things like cooking dinner and could someone tell me this. Sorry if its a dumb question, but I promise to only ask it once.

Mudfrost, Yep, I got it Saturday afternoon. I was thrilled. But guess what I have yet to get to play it. I have had a chance to read some of the manual but I have been downloading MODS and scenerios from Wild Bill Wilder. I have had a chance to see if it would slow down on my Computer and it looks like I am going to have a tad of trouble in the HUGH ones. It slowed down a bit. But I think the rest will be okay and the Hugh might be good enough. I love Good Long, Big battles. I was just reading the news and the web pages and I came across the birthday wishes for wild bill and began to think really how great the internet can be. It allows us into the lives of people from all over the world and gives us a chance to interact with them on a personal basis. I know this is kinda corney but I hope it allows us all to get to know each other better and see that we are all just people that are really alot alike. Someone like WildBill does alot for others that he does not even know and it gives you pleasure (Me when i get the game) and that is wonderful. I was in the US Army and got a chance to be in S.Korea for about 18 months. I was able to see what its like for others in different parts of the world. Some say where they live is better, some say its worse, but we are all stuck together on this rather small planet. Forums like this makes the world smaller and opens up friendships to others we would have never known and the games themselves provide the interest. I Love my country and I am sure all out there love theirs and would be willing to die for it just the same as me but I hope that none of us truely ever have to do that as far to many lives have already been taken out. Its something to think about all those who die in wars and its not just them that suffer but all those families and friends. It amazing with so many affected by that tragedy that anyone would be willing to start another one. But thats the world we live in. I hope one day that is not the case. Anyway I am off my soapbox and I wish you all the best. Just some rambling thoughts on an Early saturday morning. Now lets go Kill some of those Damn German Nazis Bastards. HEHEHE God Bless.

Wild Bill I have not had the pleasure of playing your scenerios yet as the game is still en route to my home, hopefully to arrive soon, but I have already marked your page and will be enjoying your efforts and hard work. Rommel22 Hey I bought the book yesterday but they are going to have to order it. I hope its as good as you say and as good as this story. I like books that have diary entries and stories from the actual soldiers. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yes, I got the mods and have installed some of them. i am going to have to dedicate a day to just sorting them out. When i get the full game I will download the Mod organizer and the patch for the game. Then I can get organized. Best games I have played. 1. Baldurs Gate 2 Hands down winner this year. 2. Roller Coaster Tycoon is a good game that wont break you and its addictive. 3. Shogun is not bad either but I have not fallen in love with it so its on the shelve while I play BG2 and CM. 4. Sid Miers Gettysburg for any Civil War person its a fun game. 5. European Air War is a great game but still again I dont play it alot due to time but great graphics. Baldurs Gate 2 Shadows of Amn is the best RPG I have ever played or heard about. Its hugh, immersive and a total time eater. Plus great reply value. I too am holding off on B-17 to see what the patches can do and I am not sure my computer would fair that well with its Minimum specs. Go Vols and God Bless.
