The story with Tsar-EW-tank got a continue.
After Russian attack was repelled, additional recon showed that this tank hadn't critical damages and can be moved to our positions as valuable source, because almost all Russian portable anti-drone EW assets were mounted which just were possible. It's turned out our FPV damaged only targeting system, then a tank tracks stuck in barbed wire with attached AT-mines, tank lost control, crashed into disabled BMP and stopped - the crew abandoned tank.
During several nights two "Azov" tankers have been providing reparing works. They unlocked driver's hatch, because a gun was directly under it, then they changed a 70 kg battery, which brought from own positions - this work should be done by three men, but they did it together. Then they unraveled and cut the wire on the tracks and removed a mine under the tank. All this in the nights and not in calm situation - one night Russians tried to recapture tank, sending a group on the bikes (!!!), but it was eliminated.
After all "Azov" tankers turned on engine and drove to own positions in Terny. But on the route the tank in the darkness fell into bomb crater, the driver hit head and lost consciousness. Fortunately he came to senses soon and could drive out the crater. Tank arrived to Terny, where the crew already awaited Serhiy "Flash" - admin of FB/TG channel about EW and communication systems. On the photo below he already researhes trophy equipmnent

Soldiers would be the top of the list. I can see an argument that they have less available than they had.
Maybe better trained less soldiers are enough with better drones.
I guess we will find out this year...
Ammo is another concern but that again is potentially fixed but not ideal so worse than last year.
I think that Ukraine will hold, but compared to the optimism we had last year we could say they are in a slightly worse position?

Yep this at the end is the pay off....  Not.
He offers no idea on how Ukraine should have done it differently.
Ukraine was desperately trying to stop Russia and all energy and thought spent on that.
If they had the means to encircle the Russians they would have.
They did well to stop the Russians.
To think Ukraine squandered a chance to end the war is utter BS...
He offers no evidence on how they should have done it. Magic...

Interesting episode of repelling of Russian armored attack on Terny on 2nd of April. I posted this video and you may pay attantion on the tank with pile of boxes on the turret. As became knowingly this was Tsar-EW-tank, inteded to supress all possible frequencies of UKR FPVs.

    Next the story about this:
It's Russian armored column has came. Our FPVs were falling down like flies on all frequencies, because on leading tank the EW-monster drove. Mad Max is relaxing here. On the pallet Russians assembled monsterous construction from everything equipment that they had. Three panels of patch-antennas 800/900/2.4/5.8 around and to all this were added blocks on 700-1000 ranges. Upper on some planks and around. All this was tied with ropes. On the armor also was mounted generator and batteries. There was too hard for our pilots, but quess if it kept EW the tank? No. Our brave pilots from the row of units hit them. Further with other armor became much easier.

And describing of the same episode from DeepState.
Before the column moved at 14:00, Russian TOS-1A has driven forward for preliminary bombarding of our positions, but was timely spotted and hit.
At 16:00 we spotted th ecolumn of 6 tanks, coming from Zhytlivka direction. It's interesting that Tsar-EW tank moved in the head of column. It was destroyed later, you can see photos in Flash's TG. This Frankenstain was destroyed by the drone of 60th mech.brigade with additional homing (meant "machine eye"?). Two more tanks were hit by FPVs of 63rd mech.brigade.
The moment of Tsar-EW was hit bt drone
In parallel way, the movement of column turned out in shooting range. 12th NGU regiment "Azov", 95th air-assault brigade, 21st mech.brigade, 60th mech.brigade, 63rd mech.brigade started to heap on Russians with everything what was possible. As result from 6 armors only 1 could flee.
Since some time katsap box arrived to embark scattered infantrym bvut was destroyed too.
Next day, 3rd of April next TOS-1A came forward, but again was destroyed by "Azov"
On 4th of April one more tank was destroyed here.

Depends on if you isolate the war away from the west's support of Ukraine. Lots of Russia supporters don't/can't grasp that even if Ukraine can't win outright, it won't lose as long a even a few western countries keep the flow of supplies going. I don't think Russia has a plan for that.

The twitter post above also claims "several strategic aviation pilots among the dead" which is an excellent addition.
I do not know which resource is more under pressure, the bears or their pilots, but whittling down both of those hard to replace assets is great news.
Waiting for Peskov to start claiming that attacks on russian strategic aviation are a nuclear strike red line in 3, 2, 1...

Interesting article on how hackers are being recognised by Ukraine as important to the war effort.
    Some interesting points made.
Those being honoured are potentially now open to Russian retaliation.
If it was me I would keep this quiet until many years after end of the war.
On the other hand I guess it might encourage more to join in if they know they are being valued?

Two. The second hit refinery in Tatarstan. Declared speed of E-300 is 150 km/h. Shahed-136 has 150-170 km/h. Russian AD hasn't total control - if our drone manage to overcome Russian borders with AD systems it will reach a target in the depth of Russia with big probability, because further is free space mostly.

Updated picture of UKR long-range drones with new model A-22 Foxbat, striking targets in Tatarstan Repuplic in 1200 km

And here is allegedly new extra-long range drone E-300 Enterprise of our "AeroDrone" company. It capable to carry 300 kg of HE and has a range 3100 km. Though it's unknown how much HE it can deliver on such range. This drone was presented in first time aboput year ago and developer have been searching a factory to manufacturing presumably in Poland. Maybe all tests already completed and soon we can see it in action

While the delay in approving further American aid for Ukraine is regrettable and has likely resulting in Ukraine losing more ground and infrastructure lately, does any else feel that a positive outcome of all of this is that it has spurred Europe to act more decisively in bringing forward their own aid and future commitments?

In the long run, that seems to be a very positive development.

US citizen with callsign "Will", signs a contract with Russian army. Milblogger Kotenok in own TG claims this guy served in US army, but when knew what is going on Donbas decided to join to fight against "nazism". Some time he served in "15th international brigade" (so-called "Pyatnashka") of DNR, now he signed contract in Yugra city in Syberia (74th motor-rifle brigade). Interview in English. I wonder he has Mexican or Hindus roots?
By the way, for contract signing he received 745 000 RUB (about 8100 USD) and futher he will receive 150 000 RUB (1630 USD) monthly (not matter on first line or in th erear)
In many Russian regions local governors rised award for contract signing. In Oriol and Rostov oblasts this award already reached 1000 000 RUB (about 10900 USD) - initially award was 500 000. Russian MoD claims they enlisted about 100 000 contractors and each day about 1700 people came to enlistment offices, especially many come after act of terror in Crocus-hall "to revenge the enemies of Russia". But rising of contract signing award shows the stream of people, wishing to get huge easy money is coming to the end and to stimulate the motivation (and temptation) you have to offer bigger award. Many of people in Russia either too poor or have huge credit indebtness in banks without chances to pay it. And this will push them to army. So, less oil and oil productin export - less money, less contractors. Refineries will burn will it like in White House or not.

When the unified right wing National Corps slate only manages to get something like 2.5% of the total vote in Ukraine while rightest parties dominate Russia then this discussion gets very silly.

"Denazification" is and always has been a total lie insofar as the idea that it is a legitimate justification for invasion.
On the other hand, it's no secret that there are right-wing extremists in Ukraine.

I'm not sure sharing a culture war "own the libs" video is really helping make your point, unless your point is that this kind of sensationalist propaganda exists, which we already know because that's what this branch of the conversation is about.
What I hope to get from this thread, and other serious conversations on the internet, is something that sifts out examples that are cherry-picked to push an agenda, something that tries to go beyond the usual ideological points-scoring. To really understand what is going on in a way that will lead to better outcomes in the future, we need to be data-driven, we need to consider analysis from experts in the field, we need people to make cases based on evidence that can been broadly and independently corroborated.
To be clear, I have nothing against propaganda per se. It has its uses, in particular to influence people who are politically uninterested and/or ignorant. When discussing propaganda it is perfectly reasonable to say that "people can believe what they want" because the goal of propaganda is not to educate but to influence. In a country with freedom of expression and freedom of religion, we should accept that there is always some portion of the population that is going to hold convictions based purely on vibes and woo. When bad guys try to leverage the democratic power of those people, bad stuff happens, and that's the price we pay for living in a democracy. I can assure you, it does not work the same way under an authoritarian government.
But in a scholarly environment, or a professional environment, or a (mostly) serious discussion like this thread... That's where I think letting this kind of propaganda in the door is counter-productive. It might give us an insight into how people think, and how those with power are trying to influence people to think, but at the end of the day that's only one small component of the issue, and due to its sensationalist nature, it can distract from more important signals. It's more helpful and more interesting (to me) to think about the effect of this propaganda than to simply parrot it.
For example, here is a recent article discussing how LLMs can aid in disinformation campaigns: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666827024000215
Or - and apologies for the sidetrack into my own personal area of expertise - here is part of an ongoing investigation into a multi-year probably state-sponsored operation to try subvert a key piece of infrastructure used in computers and other devices all over the world: https://research.swtch.com/xz-timeline
That is what these guys are up to. I want to talk about how we can defeat that stuff, to protect the democracy and freedoms we hold dear.
Let's go back to Ukraine. Perun responds with facts to pro-Russia critics on his previous video who falsely claimed that of course the Russian export industry is suffering because that's just how it goes in war. Spoiler: that is not how it goes.

Maybe it would be better to dismount chassis and launch the plane with catapult - instead of chassis weight to put more HE
