Right just got back from the Tank Fest and a weekend off (well nearly) house work. Sent turns back to Redwolf and Tero. No Turn from NZ. 1/2 way through with Wolfie but it might be more depending on the scenario designer. 1/3 way through with Tero and he is tearing through me like a hot knife through butter. The game with Jazza is going very slowly and I am lucky to get two turns a week. I have heard that Mattias (who was at the tank fest) knows the whereabouts of Cogust who lives in the same country. He will track him down and we hope that he is OK as you never know... I just have to share a comment from my beloved at the Tank Fest. She dropped me off at 10am and managed to sneak in towards the end to pick me up. At this stage there was the final drive by of the various British Tanks through the ages. She spys the sexy looking Challenger (modern tank) and asks where does the driver sit. I point to the middle of the tank and the visor in the hull and explain that the driver is seated roughly in a central position inside the hull of the tank. Her response had me curled on the floor. And I quote "Ohhh he is sat under that pole thing". Well folks I did not know that the British had state of the art poles that fired APDS etc etc.. I will let her do some of my turns in the games for her education... H

I shall bring my fleece and a flask of tea and a blanket.. See ya on Sunday.... Hmmm I wonder if I have enough chains to strap you onto the Tiger until you talk. Remember there are only two of you and if the other chap stays stum you will be on your own with some fanatics who want to know more. Cheers H

Hi, I think thta it will engage even if hidden. I seem to remember a game where this happened and I did not want it too. As for downing JABO's I have had this happen to me and done it. I usually only realise once I check the stats for the AA unit. H

Evening Chaps... Right just got back from sorting out tiles on my other house... Ohhh I do love DIY... Sorry for the delay, all turns now out, to Tero (who is now asleep) Jazza (I have yet to get all his details) and White4 who is at work and not on a lunch break (that was earlier and I missed my opportunity to finish the game with him). I am now off to bed... Visom I have never stooped that far and for you to say it provides an interesting insight to your addication. H

ROFL I wonder which side Warren picked up. I agree totally about Silent Night as the most fearsome game I have ever played. I have never shaked so much and sweated buckets as I watched each turn. If you want "hell" pick a good friend and play it double blind. Book in for counselling after the game. As for Fire on the Mountain I am in the last two turns with White4 and it has been a rollercoaster of a ride. I have seen things happen that I never want to see again; unless they are being inflicted on my opponents and even then I would be truly sorry for them. The map is a classic, the scenario design and briefing is par excellence and the actual gameplay stonking. All in all I think you get the idea that I don't like it... H

How close to the truth he is... But to be that close means you must do the same sweetie.. Now Tero be good to the kids and they will let you play on their computer. H

Hi, Thanks for the clarification as I was not clear what you were saying. I too have recieved this crappy virus pretending to be a message failure. Needless to say I deleted it. Very clever as it took me a while looking at the message (not the attachment) trying to work out if I had sent it out. I had not, it disguised itself as if my ISP had had a message failure and was sending the message back to me. Anyway back to topic.... Come on White4 (2 turns left and it is down the line) and Redwolf wake up. Tero you should be heading home soon.... H

Hi Just a quick off topic message in regards to the virus. http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,1282,52174-2,00.html Gives details. Basically you can not get the virus unless you open an attachment which is infected. As the CM Files are pure text files I can not see how they would become infected? I presume that it creates it's own named file and opening that will infect our machine. So if you see a dodgy (or unexpected) looking named file in the attachment then delete and let the user know. Please correct me if am wrong as I do not believe that an uptodate (with fixes) machine can become infected unless you open the file. Also I do not believe that the CM text file can become infected and by playing it hence infect your machine? H

Tero, You have a wife and Kids, I have a fiancee and a 250 year old house. At the moment we are in the middle of a project to convert 1/3 of the house and 2/3 is impacted in some way. This has been going since Nov last year. I wish I could spend time just playing the game, but I have to now decorate and sort out that 2/3 so that we can have a normal life and stop living in cramped conditions. I squeeze out turns inbetween doing work. I call them my rest breaks. As for when the project will be finished, I am hoping that if I work my bollocks off to get the majority of it done by end of July. H P.s. I Am sure once that is done then her in doors will have other tasks for me to preform. P.P.S If it had been a video I would have sent it.

Good morning chaps... Sent out Wolfie and White4 their turns. I hope they like them... As for the Uber Finn I did not have enough time to plot all my movement paths so that will have to wait until tonight. If that nice chap from NZ does not have my turn I shall resend it or could he send it as I am waiting on you Jazza.... On a more personal note, Hussah!!! The plasters turned up this morning and the messy building work end is in sight. I just hope they plaster the walls and not the floors... H

Do not fear... my ROP will not be slow and come what may I will keep my pecker up. If I get a video in the morning before work I will send it back. If it requires thought and I have time I will do it there and then. However, I was pretty tired after the weekend of DIY and slightly late for work so I could not accomodate you. Unlike the Yanks I am not allowed to load games software on my laptop and have to wait until I get home. This will be in 7 hours time. In the mean time I had better stop abusing my right to surf... Sore nose H here... The sods sent three turns while I was asleep and I did not get up early enough to deal with them. I sent Wolfie his back as it was the smaller of the three. As for Fire on the Mountain I am working out where my newly arrived Maus will go. So that will wait until tonight. Head for the Hills is in the early phase and I need to give that some thought as Mr Uber Finn is too good and I have too little. Hmmm I best do some work or I will not have the money to pay for more nails and screws to prop up my house..... H

Look guys stop this!!! You are making me insanely jealous!!! I have had no turns apart from one yesterday. This morning I look in my mail box, No turns again. I must be the only one with no life in my section? I guess another day of painting and constructing shelves beckons. H

Hmmm no turns from America and Finland is getting all fueled up on alchol and sex and silly games. Sweden aka Cogust is not to be seen, yet. New Zealand is, well asleep I guess and I better get back to painting and cleaning my brushes. H

Hmmm a good night for turns if not for there contents. Tero and I moving slowly forward towards one another in the woods. White4 has way too much X and Y and that P is a right pain in the butt!!! Several turns done and we are now on the home stretch. Jazza from New Zealand has led me down the garden path and is now punishing me for it. I am desperately looking for sheep to distract him with. As for Wolfie well his post above said it all, if you understood any of it, please keep it to yourself as it sounds a bit too techie for me. Night night and may Brazil fall prey to our prowess on the marrow... H
