  1. Odds and Sods was going to be a bunch of miscellany wasn't it? Assorted vehicles, new units etc. These will fill out the CMBN addons, more varied German defense works would be neat and I for one would like assorted German bunker types to spice up the variety available.

  8. Hmmmm I did just drag waypoints out so not sure about the exit. Will have to try it again. Thanks for the heads up re: abstracted versus explicit exiting..
  9. Fizou do you just move a section over to where some dead section is and the ai takes care of the rearming? I have never seen this as I play RT .
  10. Playing a CM:MG 2.10 real time quick battle single player on defense as British versus attack by Waffen SS. There was an issue that arose with a rifle platoon in houses in one of the victory locations, I ordered them to strengthen a flank as the Waffen SS were hitting it hard but only 2 units did as ordered a section and mortar team. However the others would not move I tried multiple times to order them to flank or merely move outside but they wouldn't exit the building. They weren't to my knowledge pinned I checked, one section said cautious. There were not under fire. Any ideas?
  11. How do they get there ? In 3 story flat roofed building you have 4 levels? Very neat please clarify.

From MG readme v2.10 v2.10 Features: * All light antitank weapons (e.g. bazookas) may fire from buildings, but most types will cause suppression and occasional light wounds to their owners from backblast. PIATs do not cause this problem. * Buttoned-up armored vehicles spot enemies to their flanks less effectively. * Armored vehicles have dramatically increased aim times for weapons when fired at extremely close range, making it easier for infantry to close assault. * Map editor elevation changes can be "sharp" by holding the control key when clicking tile elevations. This allows the creation of realistic ditch contours. * Improved graphical shaders, including Movie Mode. * SMGs are less eager to fire at long ranges. * Computer player may use "Ambush Armor" plans. * Improved UI display for timing of preplanned artillery missions also indicates what delay would be after the battle begins. * When a team needs ammo from nearby comrades, it always looks to ammo bearer teams first. * Ammo bearer teams generally use their weapons only at shorter ranges. * Path following improved on bridges. * Small ordnance is less effective at destroying bridges. * Group commands at a final waypoint work correctly. * Minefield types display correctly. * Better vertical organization of floating icons when units are crowded together. * Dragging a waypoint automatically cancels any attached targeting order (prevents a gamey problem). * Fog looks better. * Foot path terrain type added. * On-map 88mm flak guns no longer allowed to fire indirectly (trajectory is too flat). * Improved calculation of damage from anti-vehicle mines. * Miscellaneous minor fixes and improvements.
  13. Didn't get the usual preorder ready email either, just logged into my account on the BFC store copied cd key,downloaded, installed and activated everything good to go.
  14. Thanks Mike I am following the action there I am at 2.01 CMBN:CW and don't see the hot key listed. I know I can toggle the shaders which look super. Me thinks it is a 2.10 feature which is cool as I am pre-order laden come on Monday Oct 7th release haha
  15. Does 2.10 include this feature? I am abit foggy if this was included in the CMBN series. I know it's alt-m in CMFI-GL
  16. As I understand it CM:MG is only compatible with CM v2.0 engine so the upgrade would install to your CMBN -CW 2.01 install. You can install MG to either a CMBN or CMBN-CW as long as 2.0 upgrade is present . Cheers.
