Yes I ran across that problem too, the ammo seems to reset to the time period despite the vehicle remaining - I tried to give some units tungsten to represent a more power model of gun -didn't work!

You can also put a daisy chain mine under a bridge (using the editor) this stops it being used by vehicles but allows foot traffic for simming lighter bridges. You can also use multiple mines to simulate damage or obstacles to be cleared before the bridge can be used. See Small Battles, Sigh Bridge 1940 for a scenario built on this method.

Yep except for the limitations outlined above CMAK makes for a much more playable and believable CMBO: hey I loved CMBO but CMAK plays better. Thanks for doing those conversions Kingfish!

If you like unexpected surprize and like to overcome the challenge created try: For CMBB Small Battles Near Smolensk, fight from the German side. For CMAK try Small Battles Pissing off the Pope or the original for CMBO Pissing off the Pope. Fight from the US side.

Thanks again for this information Winkelried. I've finally gotten this scenario into production. Small Battle 1 Pz Div Helvetia 1940 An exit scenario with the Polish moving for the Swiss border while elements of the 1st Panzer Division try to cut them off.

A possibility but I find it easier to go with either a AI battle or a H2H and work from their. Most of mine are now for the AI and they are often historical, which throws the need for balance out the window. Smaller scenario are very difficult to balance for H2H play. One bit of bad luck or a skilled gunner and the scenario is labelled "unbalanced" !
