  1. The link seems to work ok now...but its a link to a "Total War-Rome 2" play?
  2. Always very interested in these AARs. But cannot access due to message asking for a Facebook sign-in. If this is required, then its a no go for me.
  3. Lol..as you can see by my join date, been a lurker myself since CMBO/CMBB. However, some forum comments just seem to draw me into a reply.
  4. If you take a grandson, then also add $6.00 for cotton candy, etc., etc., etc.
  5. This AAR is making it hard to resist purchasing this expansion (plus the base game). I'm currently playing a "Storm over Europe" campaign" but would like to also expand into the other operational theaters.
  6. True..but was trying some gentle persuasion to get it out. The 1870 Franco-Prussian war add-on looks to be an interesting campaign/era. My interest is probably increased due to a recently read military magazine article on the war. I'm actually playing a "Storm over Europe" campaign as the Germans currently and likely would have to start over w/ the patch anyway.
  7. Hubert..any further progress on this bug? I just had it happen to me playing as Germans in the "1914 March on Paris" scenario. Thanks.
  8. I'm into the Oct. 5, 1918 turn as the Germans against the AI. I may be reading the reports incorrectly but the Americans are shown as having 18 active land units; and I have destroyed 14 American divisions and 3 cavalry divisions to date. So at least against the AI, there seems to be a reasonable amount of American troops.
  9. Totally agree re: the addictive nature of the game. I purchased the game on Dec. 1 and have played approx. 3-4 hours daily since. I have completed four "Call to Arms" campaigns (two each for the Central Powers and the Entente) and am now trying out the Ludendorff Offensive as Germany while following the current AAR. I have played both Guns of August and World War II Gold: and though those games are very good, this game's UI and AI hit a sweet spot for me.
  10. Thanks for the heads-up..will definitely be following this and anticipating the new patch.
  11. Yep..good stuff. My forum join date corresponds to the CMBO/CMBB games that I played to burnout. Haven't squeezed the trigger on other Battlefield games since. But, this game has me hooked w/ that "one more turn" feeling. A great combination of UI and gameplay.
