I remember SFC Schue, and 2 others were killed. a local remembed the NVA yelled capture the americans - schue had a deifnite bullet wound below his ribs, the other US were heavily wounded by grenade fragments. BRIGHT LIGHT couldnt get there until the next day due to weather. They only found some web belt that was it. around 2011 they found the 3 americans in shallow graves nearby. RIP but that and Pete Wennmans avatar is a USN F4 pilot named J Chesshire. Hes got fantastic anecdotes - and of course my dad was a F4D WSO and his squadron CO was Roger Locher which was the furthest north we retrieved any downed US aircrew IIRC and I DO know for USAF Locher holds the record for being in the wild - he was out there like 22 days before rescue. It is thanks. Idk if I can find the pics. Tbis wasnt a novelty it was REALLY well hidden and I only found it because I was literally working in the empty apartment and had the run of the empty place. Ive never seen the stereotype staircase behind a bookcase(it swung didnt slide) I knoe the street adress my next option is googling the adress amd seeing if anyone else ever got a pic (If you know boston its paralell to mass ave by berklee college of music, 1 block to the side of mass ave on the fenway park side, the first old buildings by the parking garage)

Its daunting at first but this is the thing The free planes the game comes with are great introdcutory planes almost all have the same great flight model but the flaming cliffs games dont have wevery button clickable. this makes them simpler though many are still quite complex. if you take the plunge I recommend buying either the full flaming cliffs getting 6 or 7 planes ( su25a, a10a, f15c, su27, su33, mig 29 variants, jf11) or you can buy them 5 to 10 apiece. they can be complex but learning to fly them is rdiciously easy. a button starts electtronics and 2 diff buttons startengines. the rest is practice. the more advanced planes are still very rewarding tolearn, they can be daunting but its weoth it, those are the ones u literally can mess with every buton like the mig 21. even then earlier planes are still simple - the p51 full realism is still very easy to fly. the F5 is still fairly easy to fly, amd you cam 'cheat' and have the game auto start your plane. the Sabres easy to fly and a joy. The huey too forget the manual you just need to learn how to fly it and hover it. itll seem ridiclously harrd then 2 weeks later u dont give it thought. i dont even use rudder pedals. yes some planes are harder to learn. the gaxelle I never mastered .i regret gettign the ka50 the A6, F4, and Mi24 are consider commiting crimes releases for me The f14 is already dangerously close or already is to me my god. rio cockpit. rio modelled all of it. just look at the vids. is just. amazing.

Look first - Im not plugging another game. Seriously everyone here knows about dcs, some like it some dont. not same category as CM, and many who work for BFC are heavily involved in DCS. Just a disclaimer - I feel this is harmless. Ive been VERY impressed with DCS continual staying but customers, upgrades, and their new modules are jaw dropping. Financially I cant keep up and its a shame; especially now that the F14 (!!!) module is coming out. if you youtube DCS f14 module.. if you lived in the 80s you'll understand. Plus I was never interested in a Mig19P. But I watch the videos and I want it. Who else has ever made a Mig19 anyways?! plus interet works now! but yea f14 is pimp my sister ( dont have one status) as will F4, A6 and Mi24 when they come out. any fans I dont know of?

Ill get the QB map name from my oppo QB map red setup Its a long setupzone not deep, with a steep ditch before your zone ends. putting Syrian tanks there I noted if I placed them just right ( looking for hull down) I could make the tank suddenly appear to be standing on end, i.e. resting on its rear gun pointed forward. As tempted as I was to try this innovative Syrian defensive move I quietly moved my tanks into more traditional positions. (for them to explode to javelins with no contacts whatsoever. Ah yes. Syrian armored night attacks vs the US LOL)

Of course. I dont even own it but I literally stood there almost gaping for 2 hours before my feet hurting made me realize... Id been in the store standing still for 2 hours looking at these gigantic hand drawn fold out illustrations (panoramic) of combat on the Somme day. Full detail and gore. It literally is so beautifully drawn it made me excited like a child when I used to see really cool battle pictures or drawings. These are painstakingly drawn based on photos, maps, and AARs. My god.. It killed me to walk out of that store without that book.

I find the autocannon on warriors or USMC 40mms work well to demolish those high concrete walls that surround some compounds etc. For mouseholing demo charges works better.. Ill lay down. Target light as the game gives friendly infantry a pass on small arms. Not sure if you know this trick but asigning the blast command PARALELL to what you want to blast through will make the team blast the wall but not rush in. Or rush through.

Also if you want we can play but openly discuss whats happening almost like a ongoing AAR - so we.ll fight but itll be almost like training. Or we can fight ans go over what happened after. *****SPOILERS****** This one was relaly tough and I took way heavier casualties than necessary. I advise agaisnt a broad front advance. Pick a line of advance. Concentrate your men. But dont expose them all to fire. Be very csreful with buildings and your warriors and tanks. Use your engineer teams to blow holes in building walls so youre not at the mercy of doorways. MAKE SURE you look at move points that end in buildings from the enemys line to yours. Mame sure there isnt some balcony!! You have a lot of time. Be very sloe and methodical. Wait. Move glacually slow. Give units minutes to spot. Call in arty and wait till it kos a target before moving. Youll get a helo later - in my gane my men were spent. And it didnt even really have enemy tsnks to target. My tanks got them but they also killed a couple challys. Wait. The helo can do thst job. Use your arty. Let your snipers do their thing just place them well. Your javelin team is very important. Use an armor only arc and keep them a block behind your main body of troops. See the javelin team is your emergency tank response. Its an almost guaranteed armor kill. You want it where yout challengers arent in case Red gets frisky you can respond and probably defeat an armor attack with just the team. Just be mindful dont use them to simply pick off enemy armor you can see - theres bettet ways of doing it. I did exactly thst. I saw a keyholed T72 then another IFV so I jav.d them. I believe red gets armor reinforcements because my left flank as the Brits came under attack mid game and my javelin team could have stopled rhem cold. Unfortunstely they were out of rounds and a few warriors died before the threat was handled. This was my first battle after a year or more away so I was rusty but its a bit tough for sure

Well true but TBF BFC has proof I alwats bought their stuff and I only did it with ganes that are 15+ years old. As a matter of principle (dor exaple paradox games) I bought them when I realized what treasures they were. Thanks for the advice but its up anyway
