  1. Are vehicle dugouts for defensive positions making it into the game?
  2. 14012015 1500 I scorched the earth before me. My nostrils are filled with the sweet savor of smoking carcass and ash. With modern weapons, the cacophony of destruction that is meet out will sanctify me in the eyes of all who behold it...publicly. Enjoy this screenshot of my last game.
  3. Are missing in fortifications (at least in QB assault, I haven't looked in the editor yet.). Those were handy for gun positions.
  4. As a commander, I really don't care what I have lost, I only care about whats available. Its very cluttered now compared to the older games. Will wait for a mod to remedy I suppose.
  5. The bright red casualty label in the squad summary at the screen bottom is terrible At a glance, with casualties it looks like I have more men in the squad than what are there. If men are dead or casualties, just drop them off the list, like CMBN and Italy. Its distracting, and harder to read. This looks like some community graphic mod that was adopted for the official game code.
  6. If you do more than one game at once, I'll be happy to school ya.
  7. What good are these maps, when QB is limited to only 7000 points? And why won't battlefront add the option of defining points for each side...more than 7000?
  8. Send me a setup, I'll play Italians. Zooks21@hotmail.com
  9. Here are the practical effects of the attributes I've noticed after playing umpteen games. Low leadership will cause a unit to retreat under fire in general. High is the opposite. Low motivation will cause units to go to cover quicker under fire when they are moving (motivation=movement, seems to me anyway). Low motivated armor crews will bail sooner. High motivation units will keep moving under fire. Highly motivated armor crews will stay with their vehicles longer when taking fire. Experience seems to affect how well troops aim when firing, and their rate of fire for weapons that need loading, like mortars and cannons. This is all from observation.

  11. These large Italian maps are awesome. Trading arty ridge to ridge...oh man, there will be some awesome battles in this one.
  12. Cause I keep buying them... Thanks again for another great game. I've bought almost everything in your CM1 and 2 series, and have spent more time playing this one game than any other. I've been war-gaming for 30 years, and this one is the best. RichardG
  13. That was a damn good movie. Tons of tank action. Never seen or heard of it before. Looks like real tanks to me. The whole movie is at the link, remember to enable captions (cc) unless you speak Finnish. http://youtu.be/jfOx0PjQt34?t=34m30s
  14. Funny. I've been playing around with these on the attack, and have found as long as you can set them up unobserved, you can kick some ass with them. Its easy to move them into position unobserved in woods, or behind bocage. My current pbem battle is all infantry with AT guns vs. an armored group. I'll let you know how it goes.
  15. I'm a little worried. In one game, the entire crew (5 men I think) are in one hole. One shot is gonna kill them all.
  16. Check your private messages.
  17. The foxhole shouldn't be spotted until the unit in it is spotted.
  18. Fox holes should be much harder to spot in the game. Its not easy to see a hole in the ground until your right on top of it. And the earth dug out of the hole just blends in with the ground. We used to dig holes in a busy San Diego beach big enough to lay down in (like an easy chair), with nothing but the top of our heads sticking over the edge and drink beer. People walking up and down the beach 10 feet away would never see us, and most of them would almost step on us until we yelled at them (scaring the crap out of em). This was in broad daylight.
