Late bumpage, interesting thread. In Band of Brothers book it's interesting that on the attack on the 105s on d-day the soldiers now joke about how gung-ho they were as a couple of them climbed trees to shoot down on the 105 gun defenders, they said that within a few months they couldn't believe how crazy and new-guy-ish they had acted.

Doodle is right, the most common company-level partisan/kraut operation would have been a german attack against a partisan base. Most other battles would be out of CMs scale. Anyway, fortify away! Peter

BTW... an interesting time were the weeks that passed while I waited for delivery after the game was out. after checking back, oh wonder! my order got lost... . And another 3 weeks to wait for it to arrive in Germany.
