  1. Updated loses spreadsheet for Avdiivka (second tweet). Quite eye watering numbers if these are truly accurate. Like Oryx, the spreadsheet links to the evidence of each claim.
  2. Abrams sighting, although details are unclear.
  3. Wasn't there another Asimov story about the world being managed by AI, everything had been going great but then things started going wrong in a big way, famine etc. The main character investigates and discovers it's corrupt humans feeding incorrect data to the AI that's the problem. Might have been one of the Robot short stories, this human computer can't remember.
  4. Couple of clips with ground based drones this time. Laying mines, a flail drone and bridge demolition.
  5. Another interesting clip, night time recovery ending in the loss of both vehicles. Looks like the lead gets stuck in a ditch after trying to out run the ubiquitous bomber drone.
  6. Wonder if these are the same action (some other tweets state that it is)
  7. Vision of Leo I + interview with the crew. Has english subtitles if you turn them on.
  8. Slightly interesting clip, seeing a Bradley from the RU perspective. Plus, it's pointed out, you can see the abandoned T-90M that was driven off a week or so ago by the same vehicles.
  9. Such nice neighbours. According to follow on comments this has been going on and off from 12+ months and is almost certainly originating from Kalingrad Am waiting to see kitchen sinks next on the list of things thrown at Ukraine.
  10. Little example that things are hard for at least some of the the RU forces (note there's a close up of desiccated corpse if that bothers anyone). He does look a bit under nourished compared to the Chechen's we used to see. And a Leo 2 looking very workman like (the Balkenkreuz on one of these might annoy some though).
  11. Long clip counting the many wrecked RU AFVs around Avdiivka. Some moral support from Sweden RAAF F/A-18's might be possible again Article is paywalled - here's some of what it says
  12. Too bad the hatches are still open. Perfectly understandable but still, increases the chance of going from immobilised to destroyed quite a bit these days.
  13. Thanks, very interesting. Some of the best footage I've seen to be honest. Edits - 19min mark guy gets hit with shrapnel right in front of her from a tree burst. Enemy armour around 22 min? Stressful
  14. Interesting. Lachlan Murdoch (who's just taken over the reins at Fox) has just arrived in Kyiv. https://www.smh.com.au/world/europe/very-important-signal-zelensky-welcomes-fox-news-chief-lachlan-murdoch-s-visit-to-kyiv-20231121-p5elhn.html Hopefully signals a more helpful tone on Fox in the US.
  15. I imagine tactical glasses or goggles doing augmented rather than full virtual reality could be helpful. Have to keep the HUD very simple, compass at the top of the viewed area, red dots show range/direction of enemies etc. Most games have stuff like this already so no need to re-invent the wheel. I wouldn't be surprised if we see things like this is our lifetime with a human operated drone per squad to start with and then eventually autonomous drones and finally drone networks doing precision weapon guidance at range with human infantry only moving in to mop up. Edit to add - the precision weapons will include swarms of available killer drones waiting to strike, like the allies did with the cab rank system after Normandy. The beginnings are here, I'll just link this, the second clip is longer and includes the first. It's graphic footage of drones striking infantry as seen from another surveillance drone. https://twitter.com/i/status/1725921479882101234
  16. An investigation into claimed corruption and fraud in UKR military procurement. Haven't finished watching it yet, is a bit hammy with camera effects etc, but an interesting exercise in following the money. Obviously I can't vouch for the accuracy of the story, UKR friends might be able to shed light on that. I'm mainly going off this channel having had some good reports in the past. Has english subs.
  17. Long thread with many still shots of RU losses from the Avdiivka attacks over the past few weeks. https://twitter.com/OSINTua/status/1719405791428440462 And another example of an AFV column being picked apart. Can't be 100% sure it's all the one action but it's put together that way.
  18. Bit OT - in relation to the mob at the airport in Dagestan, Visegrad posted this meme which gave me a laugh.
  19. Seen these? Difficult to really see the outcome, obviously damage was done to a fairly large RU formation. Lots of riders visible at the 0:15. More destroyed vehicles.
  20. Appears to be an example of effective use of cluster rounds
  21. You don't say. This clip stood out to me today re the futility of RU efforts. The way it pans up at the end to render the victim alone and invisible is pretty sad (with the sound off). If only the population of RU could see it too. https://twitter.com/i/status/1716574212477849646 Note, the clip shows a man being (probably) fatally wounded.
