12" German Soldier dolls
gunnersman replied to gunnersman's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Well excuuuuuuuuuse me! I seems to me an "action figure" is a contradiction in terms. But however, it does say "action figure" on the box. So I will concede, and from now on when ever you see "doll" in any future post please just assume "action figure" is suppose to be there. Thank you and have a nice day. -
Just curious if anyone has seen any of these 12" dolls that are made to look like German WW2 soldiers. They have excellent detail on the weapons and clothing. They are quite impressive. I bought one which is modeled after a soldier on the Russian front in 45'. He has a panzerfaust and Kar98 rifle. He wears a Wermacht uniform with a "zeltbahn" or poncho over his uniform and an ammo belt along with ankle boots with gaiters and standard helmet too. It is quite impressive the detail with which these dolls are made. There are others, such as an mg34 machine gun team, with just two team members, though, a horseman with stug44 and accessories are sold seperately also. From what I understand there are only very few dolls made every month and then a new set is made.

That is talent per say. Or a knack for a weapon or unit. I was playing Wild Bills revision of Team Desobry. I had a bazooka team on three different battles take out take out three different vehicles on the first shot. One shot was in the wind and rain and at night, no less, at about 40 meters and another shot (the most impressive) was made on a Tiger, side hull, at 145 meters! ONE SHOT, ONE FRICKIN KILL! Bazooka sniper! I wanted to jump in and high five this guy! Man, I love this game! Hurry up with CM2, damnit!
